I did this shoot in the studio a while back...trying to catch up on bloggin'. With 20 weddings last summer and various other shoots, I have not been on the bloggin' train. Anyway, great couple, many great shots, super hard to only pick a few. A few weeks later they brought their beautiful little girl in for some newborn shots! Congrats!

Telluride Ski and Golf Company had me photograph a lifestyle shoot at Allreds. These images have been used in national advertising campaigns, the Telluride Visitor Guide, the Daily Planet and numerous regional magazines amongst others. Great views and great food. Only used two strobes on this one, the light was a little flat outside but the shoot needed to happen so we made it happen!

Here's a handful of shots from the handful I shot at our good friends wedding. Just couldn't resist shooting a few. It was awesome....congrats to the newlyweds!

A few random fall scenic's I shot actually from my front deck. I would like to spend more time shooting the beauty of where I live despite the difficulty of selling landscape photography.

This summer I photographed Andy Ward's custom furniture for his new catalog. Certainly a true craftsman. Incredible work. I used four strobes for this one with a 12 foot white paper backdrop. Two lights up front and two toned down on the background to keep it white without the blow back effect. Check out his amazing work at!

Love Joshua Tree, such an awesome place. I have shot so many photos there and had so many published, but this time it was a family vacation so I pretty much didn't shoot photos. Fun was the priority. I did get a few though so here they are!

I photographed Andy Ward's custom furniture for some advertisements he was running. Incredible work, detail and craftsmanship. Check it out at This was a simple two strobe setup in his shop with a black backdrop.

Here's a few selects from the Senior Portrait shoot I did of Zac from the Front Range. Even though we had a awesome mountain backdrop, I tried to mix in some urban shots. Gave me some location ideas for the future. A cool kid with a cool style!
